The Salesians of Don Bosco, Kolkata province looks after St. John’s School Bandel, Bandel Church and Don Bosco School Bandel. Bandel Basilica is a historical monument situated on the banks of the river Hooghly. St. John’s School at Bandel is a Bengali medium school affiliated to the State Board of West Bengal.
Don Bosco Bandel is the largest educational complex in the district.
