Alumni

Don Bosco Alumni Association : Bandel Unit
Formation : The inception of the Bandel unit can be traced back to 1987 when the ICSE pass outs felt reluctant to sever contact with their beloved Alma mater. Rev. Fr. Bertie Fernandes (Provincial Delegate , Calcutta Province ) and Mr. Ashish Paul ( Secretary of Calcutta Province ) encouraged them to become a part of the “Don Bosco Past Pupils”. The pioneering efforts of Rev. Fr. T.S.Gomes came to fruition when the Don Bosco Past Pupils Association (now called Don Bosco Alumni Association), Bandel unit , officially came into existence with a general meeting held on 03.04.1987. Fr. T.S.Gomes was nominated as Salesian Delegate, and Miss Ratna Haldar and Sir Champak Mondol were chosen as Non-Salesian Delegates. Mr. Shiv Kumar Agarwal , Mr. Ajay Kumar Agarwal and Mr. Kaushik Ghosh were elected as the first President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively. The first AGM of the unit was held on 07.05.1987.
