School Synopsis

The school was established in 1978 and within a short span of less than 50 years Don Bosco Bandel has proved its caliber both in curricular and co-curricular activities. The school bagged many prize for its academic performance as well as for its co curricular activities. Presently the school has 75 teaching staff 30 non-teaching staff and 2200 students in its rolls.

This institution has 'Knowledge and Service' as its motto. Knowledge is the ability to acquire knowledge and also the wisdom to use it for the welfare of oneself as well as for the good of the society. Service is that mind set which enables one to go out of oneself and be for the community and the society. It is the act of rendering without counting the cost and giving till it pains.

The Aim of the institution is to form in the students habits of piety, virtue, discipline and self-reliance and prepares them to be useful citizens of their mother land, India. The school aims at contributing to the building up of a more just society and one worthy of man by promoting a systematic, social education of the students. Social Service Projects are an integral part of the school curriculum.

We, at Don Bosco School Bandel actively endeavour to make our school into an ideal school where students find a home away from home, an institute of high quality learning, a place where young minds are mentored to achieve perfection. We seek to form the youth, through education, into persons of character, competence, conscience, compassion and commitment who will foster uprightness in public life.

  • AdmissionApplications for admissions are accepted from students of all religious faiths. However, Christians and Anglo-Indians are given preference.
    Parents are asked to fill in the Admission Forms with the utmost accuracy.No subsequent changes will be permitted.
